Peace y’all! It’s Tu'Mecca (they/them), Founder and Director of Aytchuwenti Consulting, and I'm excited to partner with you in catalyzing transformative impact.

With over 20 years of combined experience in community fundraising, non-profit development, and equity consulting; and with over 10 years of education, training, and teaching experience in fields that have produced most of the anti-oppressive theories and language that we all use, I've developed a deep understanding of the complexities of social justice, the importance of community-driven solutions, and the importance of leveraging strategic opportunities to accelerate growth. My approach is rooted in the conviction that diverse experiences, lived realities, and critical perspectives are essential to this work.

As a Black non-binary Transperson, I bring a unique intersection of identities and experiences to my practice, which has also been shaped by my upbringing in tight-knit working-class communities in the American South. My creative expression through writing, visual art, and graphic design informs my approach to problem-solving and storytelling, and is deeply intertwined with my commitment to co-creatively envision transformative solutions.

My professional journey has been shaped by my work alongside leading progressive non-profits, where I've held the roles of Individual Giving Manager, acting Development Director, and acting Grants Manager. I've also worked as a grassroots fundraiser and community organizer. I've pursued formal education to the graduate level, and I’ve continued to learn from the communities I belong to and serve. My approach to consulting is grounded in a deep commitment to transformative solutions, lasting connections, and impactful co-leadership.
